Women in a Hurry.

This mixed-media study materialized from a desire to explore how gestural marks can invoke a sense of playfulness and personality. Inspired by the women in my life who are perpetually late but never underdressed, this series is dedicated to all my cool friends who know what it’s like to be late for everything, competing with your GPS, and mastering the “chill speed walk.” May your car clock always be set 8 minutes fast, may your obligations always be slightly postponed, and may your peers always appreciate your revitalizing extra 20 minutes of sleep or perfect blue eyeliner or sweet-smelling coffee over your punctuality.
